Meet Jean M. Svizzero, LMT

Jean founded Bodily Kneads in 2010 and has been a practicing Massage Therapist for 20 years.

Her approach has always been multifaceted.   Zen Shiatsu, Aromatherapy, Lymph Drainage, Hot Stone, MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction ) are all aspects which she brings to the table as she interacts within the adaptive and informative realm of Myofascial Release. Each session is created in concert with what the client speaks, as well as through her listening touch.

Her practice has shown her riches which she never would have guessed at when developing her initial concepts for a healing arts studio. When a client comes out of the treatment room with a brighter spark in their eye,  a slump of their shoulder absent, tiredness replaced with levity, hope taking root where there had been discouragement, it brings her incomparable joy. This is why she does what she does. .

Jean completed her Bachelors of Science at Lesley University with a degree in Environmental Health. Her thesis consisted of developing a healing guide for Chemical Sensitivity,  which she was experiencing at the time. Her journey through that has been the basis for a lot of her philosophies and insights into healing and some of the challenges therein.
